These rules and regulations are set by Chestnut Pool France in order to provide the most enjoyable and safe angling experience for all. Please respect the rules and treat the property as you would expect to treat your own.
These rules and regulations are set by Chestnut Pool France in order to provide the most enjoyable and safe angling experience for all. Please respect the rules and treat the property as you would expect to treat your own.
- All anglers must use a large unhooking mate for ALL carp
- Hooks must be barbless or semi-barbed and no larger than a size 4.
- Free running or carp safe rigs (no fixed leads) to be used.
- No carp to be retained in sacks for any reason.
- All carp to be returned immediately after photographing and weighing.
- Maximum of 3 rods per angler; max of 2 rods per angler when more than 2 anglers fishing.
- Rods must not be left unattended.
- Minimum line strength on carp lake is 12lb.
- All anglers must carry klin-ik or equivalent antiseptic and must use on all hook holds in fresh lesions.
- No particle baits to be used, other than sweetcorn, hemp and carp pellets (no trout pellets)
- No litter or fires anywhere onsite. Reports of doing so will result in a fine.
- Keepnets maybe used on the small lake but must be carp safe material.
- All captures to be recorded in the log book in the house.
